Find and Replace 소개

This tool finds a string or pattern across a block of text and replaces every occurrence at once — handy for renaming identifiers, cleaning up logs, or unifying terminology in a draft. Beyond plain literal matching, it supports regex patterns (with `$1`-style capture group references), case sensitivity, and whole-word (`\b`) matching. The replacement count updates live as you type. In regex mode, an invalid pattern shows an error message and no replacement is applied.

자주 묻는 질문

Can I use regex capture groups?

Yes. In regex mode, write `$1`, `$2`, etc. in the replacement to reference capture groups.

What does whole-word matching mean?

Searching for “cat” won't match inside “catalog” — only the standalone word “cat” is replaced.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Find and replace runs entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to toco.tools servers.
