关于JSON ↔ YAML Converter

YAML represents the same data model as JSON using indentation-based, human-friendly syntax. Kubernetes manifests, GitHub Actions workflows, and Docker Compose files are commonly written in YAML. This tool converts JSON to YAML and YAML back to JSON, supporting nested objects, arrays, strings, numbers, booleans, and null. YAML is indentation-sensitive — mixed tabs/spaces or uneven indentation will fail to parse. Check your syntax if conversion reports an error.

Are comments preserved?

JSON has no comment syntax, so YAML comments are lost when converting to JSON.

Does it support YAML anchors and aliases?

Common YAML syntax is supported, but advanced anchors, aliases, or custom tags may not convert cleanly.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. All conversion runs in your browser; nothing is sent to toco.tools servers.
